Save your money for more worthy causes, or buy an Israeli soccer team and make a lot more sports fans here really happy for a lot less. The effort to introduce a sport that Israelis neither understand or will ever have the patience to learn is a total waste. It has not worked in the past and it won't work in the future.

Baseball can never catch on in Israel because it's a game of patience and careful strategy -- qualities the population of this country sorely lacks. And no, it's not the same game you all played (hakafot) in elementary school. And yes, it is way too slow for Israelis.and the rules are very complicated. So please stick with kadoor regel. Baseball is a Seinfeld sport: American Jews love it because they can spend half the game sitting down. Thanks.
