But, seriously, the Obama initiative is amazing. Living here, in the States, I got exposed to the unbelievable disparities between rich and poor kids. Kids growing up in low income inner city neighborhoods often don't get the same level of education as their peers from suburban higher income neighborhoods. This leads to a vicious cycle of low income jobs in thefuture and more disadvantaged kids growing up in poor neighborhoods. Anything that would break this cycle can help and since the federal government has very little control over schools, this is a very good way to intervene. Good luck to these kids.
